Oracle 10g Administration:3 Database Architecture, Creation, and Interfaces
This course provides an overview of programmatic interfaces within Oracle and different database architectures (shared server vs. dedicated server).
Audience :
This course is for Oracle 10g database administrators who wish to understand Oracle's Optimal Flexible Architecture, Shared Server Architecture, and database interfaces (SQL, Java, C++ and PL/SQL.)

Objectives :
- Differentiate between shared server and dedicated server
- Define and explain Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
- Describe the different interfaces to the Oracle kernel

Prerequisites :
- Previous experience with Oracle 10g. Successful completion of an Introduction to Oracle 10g course. Previous experience with administering Oracle 8i or 9i databases is helpful.
